Your family coat of arms in a signet ring
An engraved coat of arms lets you carry a piece of your family history with you. Choose from different arrangements, from a shield on its own to a more detailed composition with a helmet, torse, crest and mantling.
If you have an image of your family coat of arms, an existing engraved signet ring or a wax impression, bring it along to the shop. Together, we can explore which arrangement suits the shape and size of your ring, and which details can be included in the engraving.
A coat of arms is traditionally engraved in reverse, so it appears the right way round when pressed into sealing wax. We will be happy to discuss the finish that suits your wishes.

A monogram of your initials
A monogram gives your signet ring a signature of its own. One, two or three initials are brought together in a personal design. The lettering and arrangement define the look, from understated to ornate.
A monogram can be engraved into the stone or directly into the metal. During your visit, we help you create your monogram using a monogram design tool. Together, we explore lettering styles and arrangements that suit your initials and ring.
Select a monogram and the number of letters in the signet ring configurator on this page. Your chosen engraving will be included in the total price estimate.

Which stone suits your signet ring?
The colour and markings of the stone play a large part in the character of your ring. Compare the options in the configurator or take a closer look at the stones during your visit.
Layered stone
Engraving reveals a contrast between the layers of colour, making this stone a beautiful choice for a coat of arms or monogram. Compare the shades of blue and the red and white or green and white options in the configurator.
Carnelian
Its warm reddish brown colour gives your signet ring a classic appearance. Paired with yellow gold, it creates a warm combination of colours.
Jasper
Green jasper gives your ring a calm, distinctive character. The configurator offers options with or without inclusions.
Onyx
With its black colour, onyx adds a bold, clean accent to your ring. If you have an engraving in mind, we can discuss how the design will look on your chosen stone.
Prefer a ring without a stone? Choose a solid signet ring, with a metal face instead.
Frequently asked questions about signet rings
What does the price estimate include?
The configurator adds together the price of your ring, any stone surcharge and your chosen engraving. The image is an illustration and may differ from the finished ring. We will discuss your wishes and the final details before you place an order.
What should I bring for a coat of arms engraving?
Please bring a clear image of your family coat of arms if you have one. An existing engraved signet ring or a wax impression of the engraving is also sufficient. If you do not have any of these examples or are unsure about the design, contact us beforehand to discuss what is needed.
How long will my ring take?
The lead time is approximately 10 weeks for an engraved signet ring and approximately 3 weeks for a signet ring without engraving.
Can I order through the configurator?
The configurator helps you explore your options and gives you a price estimate. It does not place an order. Email your selection to us or arrange a visit to discuss your wishes.
Do I need an appointment?
You are welcome to drop in without an appointment. Booking ahead allows us to set aside time to explore the models, stones and engravings with you.
